Professor Cornacchione is the Comptroller-General of University of Sao Paulo (USP, Brazil) and Full Professor of the College of Economics, Business, Accounting and Actuary at USP. He holds the following degrees: Bachelor (Accounting, USP), Master's (Accounting, USP), PhD (Accounting, USP) and PhD (Education, UIUC). He is a certified accountant (more than 30 years), holding forensic accountant and independent auditor professional licenses. Professor Cornacchione is the Brazilian representative at IFAC (International Federation of Accountants) and IAAER (International Association for Accounting Education and Research), and former President of FIPECAFI (a Brazilian private research foundation), now a member of its board of directors.
